Faithful Followers

 “And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach” Mark 3:13-14 NKJV

These are the days when follower-ship of social media influencers are the reigning vibes. People now readily follow YouTubers, podcasters, music creators for hypes with high hypocrisy, makeup standards, and fake lifestyles. Unfortunately, these are the tales of fake followers who are nowadays called to man leadership positions in our homes, workplaces, institutions, and the large society, without the requisite dignity and character to arrest the twist and turns in our challenging world. Even in the ministry of the world’s best Leader Jesus Christ, Judas Iscariot still fell into the ranks of these fake followers. Notwithstanding, the characteristics of faithful followers include (1) faithfulness to Christ’s call to follower-ship; (2) fondness in Christ’s camp for fellowship; and (3) fruitfulness in Christ’s commission to friendliness. It is absolutely impossible for anyone to follow and collocate these faithfulness, fondness, and fruitfulness with the friendship of this world and its worldliness at the same time. Therefore, faithful followers of Jesus Christ are contented with the service of His call, camp, and commission for follower-ship, fellowship, and friendliness without compromise.

Best Bride

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
