Holy Help
“Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom? Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies? Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.” Psalms 108:10-12 NKJV
The difference between human assistance and the help from God is apparently the remoteness of the help from a far away heaven. Oftentimes, God is blamed for walking against the human plans towards breakthrough and success. Whereas, we mostly have little or no idea of the definition and destination of the strong city. Even in a single family unit, and because of the import of human depravity on conflict of interest, the different parties’ helpline is sometimes treated with skepticism and suspicion. Whereas, God’s help is holy because there is no conflict of interest with divine assistance. The ultimate definition of God’s holy help is clear, and the destination of its strong city is straightforward. While man’s hidden agenda in the negotiation of social, economical, political, and emotional assistance can be the mundane things of this world, like profits, position, power, etc, God is always interested in the prospect of man getting into heaven. Therefore, God’s help is holy; and no matter the routes undertaken in line with divine instruction, the holy help is the only guarantee for heaven and freedom from satanic manipulation.
