Best Birth

 “His foundation is in the holy mountains. The Lord loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God! Selah” Psalms 87:1-3 NKJV

The best of life’s accomplishments is a celebration of breakthrough and excellence in career, business, ministry, and even a natural birth in a family. For example, when a man is born naturally, the people rejoice with the family in celebration. Whereas, this best of breakthrough and excellence in man reflects an insignificant possibility in every man, originally created in the image of God. God created man to be a reflection of His love and holiness. Unfortunately, when the depravity of sin robbed man of God’s virtue of love and holiness, the best of breakthrough and excellence in man became a symphony of filthy and inglorious rags before God. Thereafter, God’s redemption plan offers the hope of salvation and restoration. And, to be born again is to invoke the celebration of heaven and the perfection of God’s redemption plan through repentance and restoration. Then, the grace of God destroys the works of sin and the manifestation of unrighteousness in any man that is truly born again. This is the foundation of love and holiness, referenced by the psalmist, concerning the gates of Zion and its holy mountains. What else is ever glorious in any man in whom the foundation of unrighteousness and the depravity of sin has been completely uprooted by the grace of God?

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
