God's Special People

“...and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, just as He has spoken.” (Deuteronomy 26:19 NKJV)
Forbes list would rank anyone and any corporation based on the quantity of their net worth, irrespective of the quality of the source of wealth. The race for the top is always aimed at setting self high above all others. Without controversy or prejudice, only those whose name get lifted up become the very important person (VIP) by all human standards. However, if only God’s VIP makes the list of a holy people, attitude of holiness must have driven the altitude of honour. We cannot become God’s VIP, unless we are patient enough to accept only His way of setting us high above.

Best Bride

Nothing is definitely assessed as “ It is done! “ on the basis of human limitations on relationships, participation, etc. Notwithstanding, the engagement of God in all of life’s affairs always leads to the production of a transformed life, a new beginning, and somehow like the best bride. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful. While heaven and its promises wait, saints often walk around with their eyes dropped, shoulders lowered, and feet shackled…thinking what a joyful noise in gory?
