Mercy Mafia

 “Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.” Jeremiah 33:25-26 KJV

The Old Testament relationship between the God of Heaven and the children of Israel, who are the seed of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David, is the practical model of the New Testament relationship of God with Christians today. It is built on love, freedom and fellowship between the God of Heaven and His image the redeemed man. Now, understanding this mercy mafia gives believers the assurance of complete deliverance from all the strategies of the enemies of God’s purposes in the life of His children. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding of the sovereignty of the mercy mafia between God and man often leads some folks on a collision course with God, while prioritizing their own mercy mafia with brotherhood, parenthood, ethnicity, and racial profiling. Those who turned their self-centred ideologies, social etiquettes, and cultural lifestyles into life-changing cults, fraternity, feminism, etc, have always struggled to trample on the sovereignty of the mercy mafia between God and His beloved. Whereas, anyone who has been drafted into the mercy mafia of the God of Heaven has found the undeniable grace of God; let him disregard the sophistication of the mercy mafia of the network of the principalities in his world.
