Full Freedom

 “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.” Romans 6:16-18 KJV

If servants of sin and unrighteousness implies slavery, servants of righteousness offer full freedom from evil and satanic oppression. Unlike the expectation of many people about freedom, servants of righteousness are inspired only by divine counsels and revelations. Otherwise, the world of social media and the litany of online contents are saturated with hateful speech, murder, wickedness, malice and envy for the entanglement of freelancers. Only those who are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and preserved by His grace are technically free from the subtle manipulation. Unfortunately, many believers are quick to claim the privileges of righteousness, without appropriating the power of righteousness. Yes, the privileges of righteousness conveys the peace of mind by the grace of God. It is the power of righteousness that compels the hearts of men to deny any form of unrighteousness, no matter its social relevance. Therefore, the fake freedom submits the hearts to licentious lifestyles with its attendant bondage into sin and unrighteousness; while the full freedom yields the hearts to lively lifestyles of obedience to scriptural revelations.

Omni- Obedience

  “ For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled .” II Corinthians 10 : 4 - 6 NKJV There is no better reference to the scriptural punishment of all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled than omni- obedience. In Apostle Paul’s correction of the Corinthian believers who wrestle authority with him, he admonished believers to focus on the omnipotence of absolute submission to the authority of Christ through our individual fellowship with God.
