Saviour’s Salvation
“Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: And to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:22-23 KJV
The fact that the scriptures promote the salvation of God implies the existence of salvation from other sources. Candidly, every offer of salvation and deliverance in life that doesn’t glorify God is a salvation from Satan. Yes, Satan's salvation is designed ultimately for the destruction of its buyers (John 10:10). Unfortunately, all pursuits of excellence, success, and prosperity in life, career, and ministry attract more active conversations with agents who promote Satan’s salvation than listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit that serves the Saviour’s salvation. By their use of the tools of pleasure, pressure, and persecution, many mighty men have been lured to forget God; and they have been slaughtered on the altar of Satan's salvation. Now, the self-awakened admonition of the psalmist is needed daily by all saints of the Lord, whose souls are pressured by life’s circumstances and challenges to forget God: “Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: And to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God”. Therefore, the salvation of God is the only source of peace, comfort and eternal rest from the challenges of life; all other offers of salvation are mere distractions from the Saviour’s free gifts.
