God’s Gifts

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:” Joshua 8:1 KJV

Ignorance of God’s gifts in life and ministry can readily turn owners to negotiators, beggars and slaves on their birthrights. Israel’s forfeiture of her rights to Ai had previously turned them to victims, until Joshua dealt with the root of discredit, disappointment and destruction. Notwithstanding, Joshua still needed a recovery of confidence to believe that Ai has been restored as gifts from the Lord.  Unfortunately, ignorance of God’s gifts in life emboldened believers’ enemies to sell the gifts of fear and intimidation freely on their lots. And as long as the hearts are crippled by fear, believers cannot exercise their authority against the strategies of the enemy. Fear promotes Satan's gifts, including prayerlessness, discouragement, and disunity among workers in our workplaces and partners at home. Therefore, “And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai“ is the divine marching order for Israel to drop the Satan’s gift of fear for God’s gift of faith. Faith, love and sound mind to exercise authority over all the activities of the enemies are God’s gifts to every believer; believers just need a daily refresher by the Holy Spirit to maintain their rights of inheritance in the kingdom.
