Marvellous Might

 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV

If the best of might in the world is men’s might, then we would have been limited to the different shades of bullies, oppressions, arrogance, and victimization. Nations with the symbolism of men’s might in the scriptures include Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Midian, etc, with the avalanche of their chariots. Unfortunately, when the weapons of our warfare are limited to men’s might, they are readily wired to scheme against the counsels of God. Pharoah tried his might with imagination against the knowledge of God and he was humbled in the Red Sea. Therefore, no matter the height of human achievements and the sophistication of human intelligence, when we walk in the spirit by subjecting ourselves to spiritual warfare and the sharpening of our weapon of warfare through prayer, we will access the marvellous might. Marvellous might exercise its authority and power in the promises of God. When we are mighty through God, and not through men’s might or financial intelligence, there can be no strong hold that can successfully stop the manifestations of the power of God through us.
