Timeless Transformation

 

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:16-17 KJV


Christophilia is not just a story about an instant transformation of the people’s culture and character, it is an expression of the power in the word of Christ for a timeless transformation of life. Many people do readily claim an historical change of character by their encounter with the saving power of the Lord; and thereafter, they allow the words, languages, and lifestyles of the world to mix up with their faith in Christ Jesus. A mixture of the word of Christ and the world in crisis has always produced compromises, chaos, and complaints. Therefore, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom“ is about living daily by the power of the inspiring word of Christ through daily devotion and impactful prayer. It implies living daily by the (1) truth revealed in the word of Christ, (2) righteousness received in the word of Christ, (3) anointing in the word of Christ, (4) nature nurtured by the word of Christ, (5) sincerity of the word of Christ, (6) freedom enjoyed in the word of Christ, (7) obedience to the word of Christ, (8) riches in the word of Christ, (9) mercies obtained in the word of Christ, (10) alignment to the word of Christ, (11) testimonies shared in the word of Christ, (12) integrity inspired by the word of Christ, (13) openness to the word of Christ, and (14)  the newness of the word of Christ. Sincerely, the transformation of life and character by the grace of Christ is a timeless teaching of the hearts of men; it is the victorious way of living by the word of Christ on the word of Christ and through the word of Christ.

Righteous Resolution
