Timeless Thanksgiving

“I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.” Psalm 119:14-15 KJV

One quick takeaway from Christophilia ‘26 is the definition of JOY as ‘Jesus and You with nothing “O” in between’. Isn’t this consistent with the  psalmist’s experience of a timeless thanksgiving: “I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies“; and not necessarily in thy testimonies? When a man acknowledges Jesus as the Way, he delights in living daily and satisfactorily by God’s presence and guidance. Therefore, praises and thanksgiving become natural lifestyles, even in the absence of material prosperity and physical occurrences. The troubled and depressing world of gadgets and substances is filled with total darkness and emptiness; and only the disciples of Jesus and those who ‘have respect unto His ways’ (like the psalmist) can radiate this source of timeless thanksgiving. Timeless thanksgiving is the celebration of JOY (Jesus and You with nothing “O” in between’) for all who sincerely accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.
