Love Light

Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.” Luke 11:35 KJV

The adage that say “The more you look, the less you see” acknowledges the human ‘look light’ endowment. Advances in human skill, education, and  experience create more avenues for criticism and confrontation. Sometimes, the ‘look light’ in us makes believers or members of the same family, fellowship, and foundation to constitute the network of bitterness and betrayal in our households, societies and workplaces. When we are satisfied with the “Take heed therefore….” unto your personal needs, we are often blinded from the call to “Take heed therefore…” unto other people’s needs. For example, when parents correct and discipline a child for a satisfaction of their status and competence rather than love, the child is usually lost to the world’s system of indiscipline, indifference and iniquities. Whereas, love light is the little light that Christ admonished all His disciples to let so shine before men (including children, associates, colleagues, etc), despite their reflection of flaws and frustrations. Therefore, the more we love and not just look, the more we are compelled to pray and persevere for changes and transformation of our homes, workplaces, and societies for the world to see the benefits of grace in our dispositions.
