Wise Words

 “The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:12, 15 KJV

If scripture says wise words are gracious and foolish words are grav-ious, it implies that the opposite of grace is grave. Unfortunately, the seemingly smart people in our world know just how to use their lips for human manipulation with lies, position seeking with wickedness, and wealth accumulation with greed, while seriously aiming at pulling down their fellows in pursuit of these ambitions. With these outright expressions of bluntness, bitterness and betrayal, promising homes and families are destroyed, prosperous project and business partnerships are truncated, and great social ties and relationships are sacrificed. Ultimately, all efforts and exchanges in all of life’s engagements without absolute submission to the grace of God are mere simple excavators for digging the grave of self-destruction. Whereas, grace builds bridges through the use of wise words in times of conspiracies, confrontations, and controversies. Words coded with wisdom, integrity, simplicity and empathy have commanding influence in any city. And there is always a glorious city of breakthrough in all believers’ relationships in the family, workplaces, and the general society; but only gracious command of wise words can navigate the right path to this city.

Omni- Obedience

  “ For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled .” II Corinthians 10 : 4 - 6 NKJV There is no better reference to the scriptural punishment of all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled than omni- obedience.
