Lifeless Loaves

 “Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.” John 6:26-27 KJV

There is nothing wrong with the gifting of lifeless loaves to arrest the physical and material needs of the people. The only problem is that people hardly give lifeless loaves without ulterior motives. Like politicians who often give lifeless loaves to vulnerable populace for the conscience manipulative reasons, Jesus’ miracles of feeding thousands of people with five loaves of bread was misinterpreted as the offering of lifeless loaves. “Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled” implies that the motive of this gift of feeding was seeing the manifestation of God, and not the manipulation by fellow man. Unfortunately, people in need today still run from pillars to poles in search of manipulative miracles and not the manifestations of Messiah; thereby opening up the channels of their hearts for negative influences and destructive vices. Jesus only makes lively loaves out of the lifeless loaves from people through the opening up of opportunities and privileges for the glory of Holy name; and not for the undermining of His purposes for existence.

Omni- Obedience

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints.
