Word Works
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10 NKJV
Without prejudice to the activities of fake pastors and ministers, the word work or the act of speaking the words of God is huge with a slip to discouragement than encouragement. Depending on the disposition of the audiences (either at home in the school of parenting, or in the church to the seminary of preaching), some folks can simply turn out to be professional listeners with almost zero reflection on character transformation. How can a minister stay committed to the word works in an apparent wasteful world? Speak the words of God alone, and never mess up with the words of men. When the scripture says “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12)”, it means the word work is simply sufficient to break the strongest of the hardest of wicked works in the heart of any man. Therefore, we must continue to minister and actively engage in the word works to experience the wonderful works of God amidst every believer’s field of ministry.
