Steadfast Spirit

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.Galatians 4:6-7 NKJV

It is important to underscore the fact that steadfastness is a right of Sonship, and not a privilege. Ignorance of this identity has always been the cause of slavery and unwarranted negotiations of believers with their enemies. Unfortunately, when God allow believers to walk through difficult terrain and wilderness experiences for necessary training and development, they often choose to listen to whispers suggesting ‘unloved’, ‘unwanted’, ‘unmerited’, etc. These slavish dispositions are cleverly harvested by the enemy, who is a master of deception and eternal loser in the scheme of God’s inheritance. Whereas, every believer in Christ is not just redeemed from sin, Satan and slavery, he has a steadfast spirit with dominion and authority in all earthly schemes and heavenly inheritance. The challenges of life, sometimes in career, family, ministry and business, have no consequence on every believer’s identity as the beloved son of God with authority and power. Therefore, believers’ faith in God evokes a steadfast spirit and consciousness that “God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!””; and the devil is always threatened be those who keep this identity.
