Purity Portal

He who loves purity of heart And has grace on his lips, The king will be his friend.” Proverbs 22:11 NKJV

It is instructive to note that the symbolism of the king here is purity and not necessarily power, prosperity and position. Little wonder the New Testament version is translated as “Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God (Matthew 5:8)”. Therefore, the king here is the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the Lord of lords…implying that, “He who loves purity of heart And has grace on his lips, God will be his friend”. And to love purity of heart is to be open to correction and transformation by the grace of God as you approach His portal. It is always a great disservice to godliness for believers to be carried away by the superfluity of ‘all other benefits from the portal’, leaving the passionate desire for purity of hearts. Unfortunately, there are many so-called believers who love power, position, and prosperity at the expense of purity of heart. And it is not surprising why these ‘believers’ have turned friends of the kings of this world and enemies of the King of Kings. We all need a daily dose of grace from the purity portal to maintain our friendship with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Otherwise, we may be deceived by the disguised offer of power portal.
