Delightful Desires

 “Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.” Psalms 112:6-8 NKJV

Unthreatened desires are always appearing decent until they get provoked by evil and wicked activities of our broken world. Thereafter, men are emboldened to act as men, showing their temerity and toughness with decisiveness. Unfortunately, many homes, establishments and relationships are broken and destroyed by these vengeful dispositions to human flaws, fickleness, and fraudulence. And none of life’s examples of godly homes, ministries and relationships have ever been sustained without a decisive forbearance of human inadequacies. Therefore, delightful desires have always earned the virtue of trusting in the Lord and not getting manipulated by evil tidings. These dispositions are gifts of the hearts from the Lord; and those who have them are constantly instructed by the words of the Lord. When our desires are focused on God and His purposes, it will be easier to partner with the Lord towards the fulfillment of His redemptive plan in the affairs of wicked men; rather than initiating the advancement of their retributions.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
