Sonship Status

 “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” Galatians 4:6-7 NKJV

There is no doubt the fact that adoption is not just the story of redemption from sin; it is the amazing story of Sonship. And the Sonship status comes with rights and privileges, including the automatic inheritance of heavenly resources, operating in the realms of the spirit far above the earthly principalities and powers, and freedom from fears, anxieties, and intimidation. Unfortunately, like the foolish Galatians, many redeemed children of God are ignorant of their status in Christ; and they are often taking advantage of by their enemies and detractors. And by operating less than the Sonship status, believers are forced to elevate the status of other gods, authorities, and powers above the counsels of God, This slavish ideology had forced the redeemed Galatians into accepting a less Sonship status and inferiority complex. Whereas, as projected by Apostle Paul, the acknowledgment of the Sonship status makes believers recognize nothing else in their prevailing situation and circumstances other than the existence of God, crying “Abba Father!”. When believers truly cry out “Abba Father!” and their God responds “Abba Son!”, every other dominion or subtle authority disappears without trace.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
