Palace Pillars

 ”Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, Whose mouth speaks lying words, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood— That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; That our daughters may be as pillars, Sculptured in palace style” Psalms‬ ‭144‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Palace pillars are not necessarily built in the palace; they are most likely products from the pit, the prison, and the pots of affliction. Even when worked upon by the hands of foreigners, whose mouth speaks lying words and perverse things, palace pillars are always consistent with their cry out for deliverance from the worldly celebration as prison pillars. Isn’t that what inspired the conviction of the psalmist elsewhere that ”For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness” (Psalms‬ ‭84‬:‭10‬)? Unfortunately, many promising palace pillars today would rather trade their calls to the palace for candies with deception. Meanwhile, our world is desperately and faintly waiting for her sons and daughters to stand up and stand right as palace pillars against all forms of unrighteousness, wickedness, and sin. And Jesus is always willing to rescue and deliver anyone who cry out to Him for deliverance from the impending doom to being the inspiring palace pillars.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
