Wonderful Works

 “Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It is true that for the same circumstances of life, men can either give thanks to the Lord or raise trouble-alarm to the Lord. Depending on our disposition, the Devil is skillful in the business of playing pranks with human hearts. Unfortunately, the fundamental disposition that attract his attention is always the same: “Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death…they rebelled against the words of God, And despised the counsel of the Most High” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭10‬-‭11‬). Right from the beginning of time up until now, it has always been the words of God versus the words of the Devil. The moment the heart is plagued with a focus on disappointment, delay, and darkness, it cannot see the wonderful works of God at the same time. Whereas, the wonderful works of the Lord from the beginning of times are sustained by His words or promises; and only those who stand firm on the revelations from the Lord can consistently declare His works with rejoicing.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
