Wholesome Words

 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭29:29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Everybody loves secret tellers, especially when the shared information enhances control. If only all revealed secret information embraces the wholesome truth, there would be no cause for alarm. Unfortunately, the quest for secret things from sources different from the presence of the Lord has led many people into danger, destruction, and, most times, death. Just like this ‘curiosity killed the cat’ mindset of the children of Israel led to their disobedience to the commandments of the Lord, we are equally used to qualifying the word of God with ‘what if?’, when the wholesome words are challenged by life’s situations and circumstances. Whereas, the revealed words of God in life are sufficiently wholesome for believers’ obedience and fruitfulness. Every attempt for anyone to explore an extra-biblical interpretation to the words of God has always led the explorers into the network of errors and satanic affliction.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
