Progressive Possession

 “Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If patience is a virtue in life, impatience must be nothing but a venom. Impatience is almost synonymous to impotence. Particularly, with respect to the promises of God, impatience often makes every man question the strategy adopted by God towards the fulfillment of His promises in life. Even the procession of the Israelites to the Promised Land was strategic and slow but steady, needless to mention God’s strategy of a progressive possession. Unfortunately, whenever God promises man that ‘I will drive them out from before you’, there is often the human mindset of ‘I can get that done faster, in my own way’. And the venom swallowed through the pills of impatience often destroy the joy of the Lord; and the appetite to continue the race in the face of the unexpected challenges of life is extinguished. Whereas, the ‘little by little’ strategy from the Lord is always more reliable, compared to every man’s ‘fast by fast’ strategy. ‘Little by little’ progression in life is so much more with God, because its ‘steady by steady’ possession of God’s promises is undoubtedly guaranteed.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
