Faith Fight
“having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck,” I Timothy 1:19 NKJV
Those who engage in a fist fight sometimes do quote the scriptures out of context. That the violent take their possessions by force do not make reference to earthly inheritances. The same scriptural phrase is preceded by ‘…the kingdom of heaven suffers violence’, not the kingdom of this world (Matthew 11:12). The enemy knows that no one can engage in a fist fight on earth, and walk away with good conscience. And whenever the heart of believers become polluted with anger, bitterness, unforgiving spirit, and all forms of unrighteousness, it becomes disqualified to command the attention of the throne of grace and mercy. Whereas, God knows that it takes only faith to fight with good conscience and defeat the enemy. That’s why the scriptures encourage believers that they remain strategic in deploying faith fight, instead of fist fight. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12)”. We always need a conscience filled with love, mercy, purity, and grace to engage in a faith fight; and the enemy will always do his best to ensure a throwing of the fist of distraction.
