Refreshing Request

 “always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Those who longed for relief from pain and emotional depression would often patronize comedy shows, watch comedy entertainment, and attend events with motivational speakers; rather than making holy requests to the throne of grace. Little wonders, the knowledge of God and power of His grace have often failed to bring a sustainable joy in the hearts of those who are called by God’s name, especially in moments with grave uncertainties. Whereas, the fellowship of Apostle Paul while in bonds and the suffering or persecuted church in Phillipi provides a unique evidence of the Source of an unsearchable joy. Each member within this amazing fellowship could have focussed on making a request for his personal relief from physical pain, suffering, and inconvenience; but Paul chose to be more concerned about making a request for more grace for each of the brethren to enjoy his fellowship with God. Eventually, this type of request offered him unfathomable joy…what a refreshing request! Invariably, a commitment to request for a sincere fellowship of others with God attracts an endless supply of joy and personal satisfaction, especially in our moments of emotional exhaustion.

Best Bride

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful. While heaven and its promises wait, saints often walk around with their eyes dropped, shoulders lowered, and feet shackled…thinking what a joyful noise in gory?
