Living Light

 “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

Just as Thomas Edison invented lightbulbs, the world has been blessed with inventors of technologies that will continue to redefine the ease with human’s living standards. Unfortunately, these advances in technology and innovation come with a sense of pride, the craving for human manipulation, and a possible apathy for an intimate relationship with the living God. Whereas, human creativity is dead without the indwelling of the spirit of God. John appeared ahead of the Son of God in order to testify to this fact - man needs the living light in order to have a meaningful life outside of darkness. We can temporarily boast of our knowledge to accumulate wealth, attain a lofty position, and create inventions. But without the living light within, life is filled with emptiness, disappointment and eternal darkness. Therefore, only those who accept the living light (Jesus) are adopted as the children of God; and they are free to enjoy life with purpose and fulfillment.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
