Right Route

Finding the right route in life is not as straightforward as following a set of rules. A sincere plunge into the operation of any system, governed by the combination of government policies, health protocol, religious tenets, etc, often quickly reveals confusion and contradictions. The major problem with the interpretation of rules is the diverse self-interests of the different players or concerned stakeholders. And the true solution is a sincere submission of all hearts to the interest of God. Unfortunately, Israel would like to trust the security intelligence of Assyria, Ephraim would delight in her idols, and both always crave the provision of real rest and soul satisfaction in God. Whereas, prophet Hosea reminded the people that following the ways of the LORD is the right route in life. Unfortunately, those whose hearts have not been purged from sin cannot find the ways of the LORD, even if they desired them. Therefore, finding the right route in life starts with finding GOD and laying down the demands of self in pursuit of the interest of the LORD.

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints.
