Wilful Watchfulness

 “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.”

If abstaining from defilement is as simple as isolating oneself from filthy environment, the falling of giants in life and ministry will be almost impossible. Unfortunately, the productive ways of engagement and the path of useful contributions in life are laced with agents who are capable of clipping more than more people are conscious of clearing. Everyone needs a superior watchfulness more than his eagle eyes, in order to outsmart the enemies of his soul. After a wilful watchfulness and the abstaining from the ways of the world, the Psalmist needed more assistance in dealing with the requirement for holiness in his own acceptable way. It is normal to expect the archenemy of the soul not to strike where the stakes of watchfulness are high. The mighty are readily fell where the guards are let down and subtly within their acceptable lifestyle. Therefore, taking heed according to the daily digest of the word of God is needed in addition to wilful watchfulness.

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.
