Precious Peace

 “Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble...I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies, For all my ways are before You.”

As the world remembers September 11 Attacks, it is instructive to know that those whose loved ones were claimed by the wickedness of men appreciates more the value of peace. In our moments of great devastation and catastrophe, questions fly freely without answers; while the state of peace within the heart is generally disturbed. Especially for those whose definition of peace is configured by the security of health, lifestyle, employment, and the state of economy, things readily fall apart when this fragile frame of their lives’ security is attacked. But the Psalmist revealed a special breed of people as those who love the precepts of the Lord. To this set of people, there is a precious peace “And nothing causes them to stumble...”. Therefore, there is a peace in the heart of the Redeemed, greatly uncut by the storms of life.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
