Profitable Procession
“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”
Isaiah 48:17-18 NKJV

The complications in knowing and obeying the voice declaring the will of God, especially for believing children of God, is mostly due to the lack of sensibility in the simplicity of the sound. People struggle with leadings that offer slow procession to profit making, especially when there appears to be faster route to breakthrough, marital bliss, leadership progression and professional development. This concept informed the principle of prayer to know the will of God with the believers’ eyes intelligently open. When the intelligence of man struggles with the inspiration of God, the heart finds it difficult to heed the fatherly admonition “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit”. God’s leading may appear to come with little pain and painful patience, but the peace of God throughout the period of rain is always a worthwhile gain. For the faithful and faint-less children of God, godliness with contentment through the rain is always a profitable procession to the palace of great gain.
