Pure Praise

http://bible.us/psa99.9.nkjv Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the Lord our God is holy.
It is readily acknowledged that‎ praise is comely but inconsistent, when shrouded only in the appreciation of the activities of the subject of praise. Many would cease the position of power in order to take advantage of the deficiency in activity-motivated praise. Therefore, peoples often play god directly or indirectly in the life and affairs of their fellows. The Psalmist have experienced the competition between the praise of peoples and the worship of God, and the consequences of imperfect praise among the people who attempt to ascend the holy hill of God. In spite of their inadequacies, Moses and Samuel succeeded in their worship at the holy hill, above the peoples in their days, because of their focus on the attributes of God, rather than His conceived activities in their affairs. Consistent worship is possible from a heart that acknowledges the sufficiency of the attributes of God as the basis of pure praise.
