Overseer's Oversights

"Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock". (1 Peter 5:2-3 NKJV)
One of the wonderful buffers in times of difficulties and suffering is the availability of good leadership. A good leader leads others through fellowship with the attitude of patience and perseverance during suffering, following the example of Jesus Christ. Even when not in charge of the pulpit, overseeing elders serve the pew with passion. Unlike overseers by appointments, overseers by calling treat every negative experience as a good investment opportunity. The dividend of an elder's period of pain is the prosperity in every pilgrim's progress within the elder's oversights.

Best Bride

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
