Heavenly Inheritance

"..to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1:4-5 NKJV)
Unlike the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, permanent residents of the system of this world are passionately attached to earthly inheritance. Although these inheritances may provide temporary comfort and dignity, and irrespective of their source, they are transient and corruptible. Conversely, the source of heavenly inheritance is the power of God through faith. Even with denial of earthly privileges, a pilgrim's soul is filled with great joy of an undefiled attachment to heavenly inheritance.
