Gracious Glory

 “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,” Ephesians 1:17-19 KJV

Without the revelation of the glory reserved for believers, we are bound to settle for less…being faced with the earthly glory in material prosperity, physical beauty, etc. The revelation of the earthly glory makes people misbehave, downplay confidence in conviction, and withdraw their commitment to worthwhile missions. Whereas, the revelation of heavenly glory is possible with constant fellowship with the Lord and meditation on His promises in the secret place of prayer. With the spirit of wisdom and the understanding of the riches of God’s glory,  believers can wait patiently for the manifestation of the gracious glory. The glory in the grace of God that cannot be measured by human physical eyes shouldn’t waver at the sight of worldly glamour; the likeliness of the love of Christ that cannot be measured by mundane affection and lust shouldn’t faint in the face of emotional feelings; the ordinance through our sincere obedience to revelation that cannot be measured by worldly principles and practices of prosperity shouldn’t cause sleepless nights; the riches of righteousness in Christ Jesus that cannot be measured by physical rights and privileges shouldn’t bring discomfort; and the yoke of our yieldedness and submission to Christ that cannot be compared with the benefits of unequal yokes. Therefore, the gracious glory is far more great, more lovely, more orderly, more rich, and more yielding to the fulfillment of the promises of the Lord; great and gracious is the Father’s faithfulness.

Righteous Resolution

  “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.
