Spirit Services

 “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.” Psalm 51:12-13 KJV

One of the beauties of salvation and freedom from sins and all forms of unrighteousness is the possession of the free spirit of God. The free spirit embodies the inspiration of the Most High and ability to operate in the realm of the supernatural. Whenever a believer is privileged to escape mechanical rendering of activities or services and carnal engagement with people, he literally becomes the battle axe and a weapon of war in the mighty hands of the Creator of heaven and earth. Therefore, “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit” plea goes beyond grace for salvation unto gift for service for kingdom expansion. And we all need spirit sacrifices to be engaged for spirit services. Unfortunately, most often and like the first apostles of Jesus Christ, we are readily content looking for the living among the dead. Whereas, spirit services come with a complete burying of strategies that pivot on the use of dead works, carnal manipulations, intelligent gathering for administrative discharge, etc. Whenever we are truly blessed with the free spirit of the Holy Ghost and power, family projects, ministerial assignments, and professional practices are made readily available as a platform for evangelism and souls transformation.

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful. Omni- Obedience

  “ For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled .” II Corinthians 10 : 4 - 6 NKJV There is no better reference to the scriptural punishment of all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled than omni- obedience. In Apostle Paul’s correction of the Corinthian believers who wrestle authority with him, he admonished believers to focus on the omnipotence of absolute submission to the authority of Christ through our individual fellowship with God.
