Prosperity Parades
“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;” Psalms 1:1 NKJV
Whenever life is no longer a parade in pursuit of prosperity, then the sustenance of breath becomes meaningless. Notwithstanding, the diversity in the choice of anyone’s parade leads to different types of blessedness in prosperity. The psalmist acknowledged one of these parades, initiated by ungodly counsels, sinful paths, and scornful seats. Unfortunately, many prosperity prospects are attracted by this parade because of its shortcuts to promotion laced with compromise, corruption and carelessness. Whereas, only few prospects find the parade into true blessedness, because its prosperity demands courage, truth and integrity. Therefore, when the scriptures say ‘Blessed is the man…’, the righteous is wise enough to look only after the man that is destined for prosperity; and not really after the materials paraded along its paths.
