Way Weapon

 “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”

One of the excitements In growing up is the attainment of independence from tutelage, parenting, training, and mentorship. Notwithstanding, everyone understands the struggle towards measuring up with the responsibility that comes with independence. While independence with responsibility makes a way, independence without responsibility brings waywardness. In believer’s relationship with God, the responsibility to be an instrument in the hands of God for righteousness is a self-owned key. Otherwise, the enemy is always a handy master of all self-acclaimed freelancers. Therefore, it is everyone’s responsibility to daily prepare one’s mind, body and soul for a dedicated presentation to God as an instrument of service. Even when others in the family, fellowship, and on the field chose the wayward path, the responsibility of every believer is to remain a way Weapon in the hands of God.

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
