Shameless Statement

The chief priests, scribes, and elders had the greatest challenge of their lives trying to find incriminating statement of expression around the activities of Jesus. But when interrogations became their last resort, they found no cooperation from Jesus, as nothing came out from His lips until Christ’s true identity was queried: “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” Perhaps if Jesus had remained silent at this point, the interrogations could linger further with more frustration at best. But Jesus made it easier for His accusers by responding with a stellar statement of undeniable identity. That Jesus is Christ, the Son of the Living Blessed God is actually not a news. It was merely the dilemma of the religious leaders and shameful followers of the unknown God. And in today’s world of political correctness, not many believers can standout with their testimonies as the son of the living God, a royal priesthood, and a peculiar person, especially when the bounty of immortality and corrupt practices are on the line. Whereas, true believers are always not ashamed to declare a shameless identity with Christ and their total separation from the system of this world.

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
