Hope of Glory

"To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory". (Colossians 1:27 NKJV)
Being born into the lineage of the king comes with the right to the throne; and the hope of an earthly glory as future king. The Jew would pride in their privileges as children of Abraham, because of the everlasting covenant God had with their fathers. However, the gentile nations are not without hope; albeit through a hidden mystery of God. There are unfathomable riches and inexplicable glory in the redemption story. That aliens to the commonwealth of Israel could be 'born again' to become heirs to the kingdom of God, and access the hope of everlasting glory, remains a mystery.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
