End of the Road

Great anxieties are likely up in the air for many as the year 2009 is gradually coming to its end. Although few wraps of gifts may still remain unboxed, many of the experiences in the year might have already introduced disappointments, crossroads, broken hearts, shattered dreams, and loss of loved ones. The appearance of road blocks are not necessarily the end of the road; they are necessary for road improvement and maintenance work. The most important skills required of road users is the ability to monitor the signs for detours ahead of all road blocks.

Genuine faith is tried, but its focus will consistently remain the praise, honour, and glory of the Lord. God desires to be glorified in all of His children's life endeavours. Until the experiences, during the test, result in God's glory; crossroads cannot be the end of the road. Looking beyond the year 2009, there are great landmarks ahead in 2010. While praising God for His preservation, great excitements are required for the journey ahead, even when they have to be through detours.
