Weapon of Warfare

It is expected that faith forecloses violence; however, violence becomes inevitable with strong opposition. Only violent faith can stop the mouth of lions, subdued kingdoms and authorities, turned to flight the armies of aliens and doubters, etc. The heart of faith does not quench in the fiercest of calamities. It ceaseless lift the banner against all evils.

While the battle ground during the old testament shift from region to region, the battle ground in these days is the heart of man. The weapon that sustain the heat is the word of God - sword of the Spirit- and prayers. The target of the Devil is always to bring up excuses that will prevent the flow of God's word and prayer. Through discouragement and sin, the edge of the sword becomes blunt and unproductive.

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
