Fight Without Fainting
Beside the speed in his bunch of punches, Mohammad Ali utilized his bunch of words in fighting all his challengers. However, his popular quote "If you sign to fight me, increase your insurance. Ali's got a left, Ali's got a right. If he hits you once, you're asleep for the night" lay no claim to "the top"; while predicting "the ground" for all his opponents. No human being with the arm of the flesh can lay claim to the top. Therefore, a man of God - those who would not fight with the strength of man - can rest on his confidence in God. A good fight of faith is a fight without fainting, because it rely on the comfort of the Spirit when faced with the threatening life challenges.
Fighting opposition to wellness in career, health, family, and ministry, it should be realized that the strength of man is limited. But with God on one's side, the fight is not finished until the face of the Lord is seen. This same solemn charge and words of comfort to Pastor Timothy is relevant for men and women of faith today. If you are knocked to the ground, realise that your challenger lay no claim to the top. Seize the top, and faint not.
