Gracious Generation

 “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.” Galatians 5:14-15 KJV


One of the greatest evidence of grace is the expression of unfailing love in all believers’ relationships.  But in reality, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” is easier preached than practiced.  As G.K. Chesterton rightly declared “The Bible tells us to love our neighbours, and also to love our enemies; probably because they are generally the same people!”. Unfortunately, the unthinkable measures of hatred, envy, and bitterness thrive in today’s family circles, fellowship gatherings, and field workers where the mandate of love is mostly expected to be demonstrated. Obviously, the power of grace in the generation of those who claim this dispensation is constantly being queried. What is actually the problem with “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world (Titus 2:11-12)”? Definitely nothing is wrong. Yet, grace is teaching; but we are not taking. Therefore, the gracious generation must be willing to drop down greed and take up grace, if we really want to truly love our neighbours, and also to love our enemies; no matter what!

Righteous Resolution

  “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.
