Perfect Peace

 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:” Isaiah 26:3-4 KJV

Peace that is partial tends to promote the absence of troubles, opposition and oppression. Whereas, there can be abundance of this kind of peace with confusion in the mind and constant restlessness. When our sense of peace is derivative of physical structure and material manifests, the system can mortgage the conscience with compromises while creating the artificial provision for partial peace. Perfect peace comes from the heart’s pure relationship with God. Even when the elements move around in chaotic disorderliness, perfect peace makes the heart stay on Him. Therefore, perfect peace is not derived from (1) property prosperity, but in the pureness of peace with God; (2) extravagant entertainment, but in the excellence of endurance; (3) rude riches, but in real righteousness; (4) falsehood and fabrication, but in faithful fellowship in God; (5) extreme extortion, but in the extension of everlasting life; (6) confusion with charisma, but in calm and comfort; and (7) twisted testimonies, but in tested truth. Once the heart is made to establish an affectionate fellowship with God, perfect peace is maintained in the heart, even in the flourishing of fighting.

Righteous Resolution

  “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.
