Great Glory

Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of his name: Make his praise glorious. Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.” Psalm 66:1-3 KJV

While the celebration of the glory of the Lord on a constant basis is the major essence of a believer's existence, the enemy would rather delight in our focus on any pocket of gruesome gory. Therefore, “Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands‘ is a command and not a consultation. Surely, a focus on the great wonders of God in our lives and the affairs of our loved ones has a way of boosting every believer’s confidence in the power of the Lord, comfort in the presence of the Lord, and courage in the precepts of the Lord. We see things around and times ahead in the  light of God’s promises when the heart is filled with the praises of the great glory of God. Invariably, the enemy of God’s people is frustratingly disharmed and reminded of his futility when believers’ hearts are constrained to ignore the gruesome gory of the enemy’s confrontation and conspiracies. The practice of the prominence of God by the praises of His great glory is the only evidence of believers’ relationship with God; the acknowledgement of greatness in the glory of God is the clipping of the enemy’s wings and arrogance.
