Lighthouse Life

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:1, 4 KJV

The LORD is my light and my salvation” expresses a sincere focus on God, especially in the midst of evil, wickedness and darkness. Obviously, FEAR is simply Fools Expressing the Absence of the Redeemer. Therefore, the non-existent treatment of all activities of wickedness in every believer’s life is the adoption of a lighthouse life, as instructed by the Lord:  “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16)”. Even when he walked through the valley of the shadow of death, little wonder the psalmist’s desire and prayer remained to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of his life. Therefore, believers’ focus in the midst of hurtfulness, hatred and hostility is the growing of grace to do more good works, show more love, and impact more lives with goodness. Unfortunately, fear is the unnecessary recognition of the activities of the enemies of God; and those who truly believe that God is the strength of their lighthouse do not participate in this foolish act.
