Best Business

 ”And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.“ Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭49‬-‭50‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It is important to note the Boy Jesus’ question “Why did you seek Me?“ didn’t query the parenting skills of Joseph and Mary. The question was just a reawakening of all concerned hearts to the best business engagement on earth, which is the business of our heavenly Father. While life beckons the rush into career progression, professional engagement, social relationships and responsibilities, including advances in ministerial opportunities, the business of our Heavenly Father in all these engagements is central. Unfortunately, it is always possible to be busy and seemingly productive with life and all its callings; and still completely lose sight of the purpose for living. Whereas, as we initiate an intimate relationship with the Heavenly Father, we get the chance to reflect the divine purpose of God in all our engagements with the elements in the world. Actually, the best business in all of life’s engagements is not what and how we do the things we do, or how we relate with the people within our sphere of influence; the best business is always the motives in our hearts and how they relate with the will of God.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
