Victorious Vibe

 “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” I John 3:1-3 NKJV

If the future revelation of the likeness of Jesus Christ actually gives believers and Christians a victorious vibe, it is clearly instructive that the root cause of the loss of passion for holiness and righteousness is the absence of His present vision. Little wonder the scriptures say elsewhere that without vision, the people perish. Unfortunately, our present world’s population of youths and promising leaders are readily wired by personal ambitions towards quick riches, promotion and prosperity; and that’s why their visions are easily manipulated by cheating, corruption, and covetousness. Whereas, visionary leaders of tomorrow would pay sacrifices of time, talents, and treasures today to pursue a change in the society, institutions and communities’ status quo, rather than the pursuit of personal ambitions. Therefore, a victorious vibe is driven by the revelation of Jesus Christ in every believer’s daily engagements, without losing delight in His righteousness.

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
