Brightest Breath

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high” Hebrews 1:1-3 NKJV

The ministry of Jesus Christ is here compared with the ministry of prophets and the angels. While “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14)” climaxed the ministry of angels at the provision of messages to pilgrims on their way to the redemption city, Jesus Christ is the Message for every believer’s salvation, sanctification, and spirit baptism. Why then would anyone get distracted by the ministries of messengers (like priests, pastors, prophets, and principalities) at the expense of the wholesome Message. Jesus is the brightest breath of God, the Way, the Truth, and the Life; or simply the key to life on earth for anyone who wants to discover purpose and fulfill it. When Jesus says “Come unto Me…and I will give you rest”, He doesn’t just ask us to take a break to breathe; He is the Gift of the brightest breath for true living.
