Quarrel Quarry
“It is honorable for a man to stop striving, Since any fool can start a quarrel. The lazy man will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing.” Proverbs 20:3-4 NKJV
Anyone who has been to a quarry understands how easy it is to find stones for throwing at anyone and anything in the quarry. Therefore, the throwing of stones in a quarry is a no-brainer exercise or expenditure. But, unfortunately, many people’s lives and responses to its circumstances are symbolically locked up in a ‘quarrel quarry’. Whereas, intelligence, innovation, and inquisitiveness have always driven the making of beautiful architectural structures out of stones from quarries. Through these precious expeditions, quantum quarry is exploited instead of quarrel quarry. Likewise, the ongoing incitement of citizenry and wanton protests across the landscapes could have been directed into innovative discoveries, if some people can deploy more resourcefulness than what any fool can do. While it is no news that some evil geniuses do exploit the naivety of fools to their selfish advantages, wisdom demands the waking up of fools to the wealth of riches and prosperity within their quarrel quarries. Unfortunately, an unholy heart is not honourable and cannot find the quantum of peace in a quarry, until he finds the God of peace for the peace of God in his heart.
